See the sights without having to leave home!

The Dish Telescope, Parkes Observatory

The Dish Telescope, Parkes Observatory

If you find yourself out at Dubbo visiting the Zoo, make sure you find time to drive an hour or so further up the road to visit this Australian connection to the first moon landing.

Three Sisters no camera 1280px

The Three Sisters Lookout 02

For a slightly quieter view of the Three Sisters, you need to pop to the other side of the visitor centre and amble down a less noticeable path to this delightful view point. Enjoy!

Blue Mountains with camera 1280px

The Three Sisters Lookout 01

In this video, you get to visit Echo Point in Katoomba and enjoy the view of the amazing Three Sisters and the wider view across the Blue Mountains.

And check out Lookout 02 for a quieter viewpoint.

Harbour Bridge and ferry Milsons Point 1920px

Sydney Harbour Bridge Up Close

This is a great spot to settle in and enjoy the harbour life. From here you'll see the ferries going to and fro, the various tourist vessels plying their trade on the harbour and envy the Sydney commuters who get to travel by ferry every day.

It's a great spot to SitAwhile and enjoy the sights and sounds of Sydney Harbour.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge and Skyline

This is one of the must-see viewpoints on Sydney Harbour. As you look out from the Lower North Shore lookout at Milsons Point, you get to see one of the world's most engaging harbours in all its glory.

Sydney Harbour McMahons Dusk tile 1280px

Sydney Harbour at Dusk

Enjoy this iconic view of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House from the view point of McMahons Point.

Perth Skyline 16by9 1280px YT

Perth Skyline from Kings Park

This is a "must do" when visiting Perth - head out to Kings Park, enjoy the botanic gardens and take in the view of the Perth skyline, across the Swan River.

This is your chance to witness the Perth skyline at sunset but from anywhere in the world!

Barangaroo portrait

Chillout in Barangaroo Sydney

This part of Sydney is undergoing an amazing redevelopment. Instead of it being what appeared to be a dockside car park for newly delivered overseas cars, it's being turned into a lovely park and substantial new (and sometimes quite controversial) developments.

Since filming this, the Casino building has been completed and major new development is underway so I guess I'm due a revisit soon!

I used to live directly opposite the Opera House for many years so for me this is a lovely reminder of the hustle and bustle of life on the water in a city environment.

Circular Quay Timelapse portrait

Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Timelapse

This is more of a "SitQuick" than a "SitAwhile" video!

Get a glimpse of the dynamism of this part of Sydney Harbour - the ferries, the people on wandering the foreshore and the traffic on a road that should never have been built - the Cahill Expressway!

Enjoy this short timelapse, set to music.

Circular Quay - at its normal pace

This is the "non-timelapse" version of the Circular Quay recording.

Set to a relaxing music track, in this video you get an elevated viewpoint of the hustle, bustle and energy that is a typical day in Circular Quay.

Enjoy the view.
