So what’s it like to SitAwhile in one of Australia’s temperate rainforests among cabbage tree palms?
Flies buzzing around your head, butterflies flying by, a beautiful yellow wildflower growing behind you, strange cracking sounds in the trees around you, prehistoric-looking palm ferns catching the dappled sunlight – welcome to the wonders of an Australian temperate rainforest!
Oh, and if you’re wondering why there aren’t as many “nature” videos as there are “water” and “ocean” videos, one of the reasons is because of the leech that attached itself to me during this recording. Yep, I’m squeamish! I’m now just waiting for an extended dry spell before heading back into NSW forests!!!
Location: The Palms Circuit Track, Munmorah State Conservation Area, Central Coast, NSW, Australia.
